Eyeglasses or Contacts: Which to Choose?

Why Buy Designer Prescription Glasses?

by Douglas Sutton

When you wear glasses on the regular, you might not give your eyewear much thought. However, upgrading to designer glasses when you buy your next pair of spectacles can be a wise choice and great investment. Here are some reasons why you should consider buying designer glasses.

You feel more confident in your glasses

Designer glasses often have the name of the eyewear designer on the sides of them, making them visible to yourself and others. They also tend to follow mainstream trends in sunglasses and designer prescription glasses, allowing you to be a trendsetter even as you correct your vision. If you have issues with wearing glasses because you don't like the way you look in them or how they look on you, give yourself the confidence boost by upgrading to designer glasses.

You feel more encouraged to wear your glasses

If you aren't one to wear your glasses daily even though you're supposed to, you may need to give yourself the motivation to wear them more frequently. Buying designer glasses can do this for you because these glasses are often more expensive than traditional glasses and frames and they can give you the trending look you desire. If you are bored with your current glasses or you don't like to wear them because you don't have a lot invested in your vision improvement, make the upgrade to designer glasses. You'll be motivated to wear your spectacles daily.

You feel ready for a change

Have you been sticking to the same classic style of glasses for years, never dedicating to a particular brand or color? If so, then it's time to change up your look by investing in the best designer prescription glasses for your face. Your designer glasses can come in a variety of styles and colors—not to mention designers—to give you the new look you've been waiting for. You can invest in more than one pair of designer glasses, or stick to one style you love until it's time to change your prescription again.

New designer glasses can be purchased when you get your eye exam done since you need a current vision prescription to buy new glasses. Lenses and frames usually get purchased together. When you get your designer glasses in, your eye doctor will have them fitted to your face to ensure you not only have beautiful eyewear you love, but designer glasses that are comfortable, too. About Me

Eyeglasses or Contacts: Which to Choose?

Since I was a teenager, I've worn eyeglasses. The idea of getting contacts didn't seem all that important. It was only during my last eye exam with a new optometrist that I decided to revisit the possibility. On the advice of my optometrist, I decided to try the disposable lenses. To my surprise, they worked great. Even my field of vision was broader. One of my favorite things is that I never have to hunt for a handkerchief or a tissue to wipe away dust from the glasses anymore. Being able to purchase sunglasses off the rack is pretty great too. If you just got the word that corrective lenses is in your future, let's talk. I'll tell you why choosing contact lenses over glasses makes sense.
